Overview

The AMS Performance Infiniti Q50 / Q60 Red Alpha Matte Carbon Engine Cover (part number ALP.28.06.0001-1) replaces the plastic factory engine cover with a real carbon fiber piece that makes the VR30 the centerpiece of the engine bay. It is part of the Red Alpha line AMS built for the 3.0L twin-turbo VR30.

Lightweight and good looking, it is built from 100% real carbon fiber that adds strength and holds up to the heat of a high-powered engine bay. The matte finish is clear coated for a modern look that will not fade like painted plastic.

Installation takes only basic hand tools. Each piece is hand laid from motorsports-grade carbon fiber, so small weave variations are normal, and the underside shows the raw weave. Other carbon parts shown in the full engine bay photo are sold separately.
