Overview

The AMS Performance VR30DDTT Stage 1 High Pressure Fuel Pump (part number ALP.28.07.0001-1), known as the RA338, is the first step up in fueling for the VR30. It flows over 338 liters per hour and allows up to 180 bar of fuel pressure.

It supports AMS ALPHA 5 and RA500 packages for the Nissan Z and Infiniti Q50 and Q60, and it is a great fit for stock-turbo full bolt-on builds up to about 500 whp on E85. AMS developed it with Nostrum High Performance using all stainless steel construction.

The pump uses OEM-type low and high pressure fittings, is E85 and flex fuel compatible and is flow tested before shipping. Your ECU tune needs specific calibration to take advantage of it, and a qualified calibrator should review datalogs after installation.

Do I need a tune?
Yes. AMS says specific calibration changes are needed to use the pump fully. The engine will run after install, but a qualified calibrator must review datalogs.

Is it E85 compatible?
Yes. It is compatible with E85 and flex fuel.

Does it use factory fittings?

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
