AMS Stage 3 VR30DDTT Direct Injectors, Set of 6 | Q50 / Q60 / Z

The AMS Performance VR30DDTT Stage 3 Direct Injectors are the next step above Stage 2 for the VR30 direct injection system. The factory injectors run out at fairly modest power, especially on ethanol, so AMS developed these with Nostrum High Performance.

They are built from brand new OE HDEV5 VR30DDTT injector cores, so the overmold and fuel rail features are factory correct and they fit directly with no fuel rail or electrical adapters. Each injector and its subcomponents are serialized and QR coded, each unit is tested for function and flow, and the set of 6 is dynamically flow matched.

AMS rates them to support up to 980 whp on gasoline or 800 whp on E85, flowing 21.6 g/sec at 100 bar with a 200 bar maximum recommended operating pressure. Calibration data is supplied, the spray pattern gives OEM-like cold start and drivability, and a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects is included.

Do I need a tune?
Yes. The supplied calibration data must be loaded by your tuner.

Stage 2 or Stage 3?
Stage 3 flows more (21.6 vs 17.7 g/sec) for higher power builds.

Do they work with AMS HPFP and flex fuel kits?
Yes. AMS says they are fully compatible.

Fitment Notes
