APEX Wheels EC-7RS Forged Wheel | 18x11 ET40 | 5x112

The APEX EC-7RS is a forged wheel from APEX's Sprint Line, engineered specifically for Toyota applications utilizing the 5x112 bolt pattern with 66.6mm center bore. This 18x11 ET40 wheel addresses the performance demands of Toyota enthusiasts who require both strength and reduced unsprung weight for improved handling dynamics. The forged construction approach delivers superior material density and structural integrity compared to cast alternatives.

Forged construction utilizes a single piece of aluminum that is heated and formed under extreme pressure, creating a wheel with enhanced grain structure and material properties. This manufacturing method produces wheels that are both lighter and stronger than cast equivalents, making them suitable for high-performance driving applications where wheel failure is not acceptable. The forged process eliminates the porosity and inconsistencies found in cast wheels, resulting in a denser, more reliable structure capable of withstanding the demands of track use and spirited driving. The precise material distribution achieved through forging allows for optimized spoke thickness and rim construction without compromising structural integrity.

The EC-7RS incorporates a Profile 3 face design that positions the spokes and mounting surface for optimal brake clearance and visual depth. The 60-degree conical hardware seat ensures proper lug nut engagement and load distribution across the mounting surface. The 18x11 ET40 sizing provides aggressive fitment capability for Toyota platforms requiring wide wheel configurations for performance tire applications.
