The SM-10 achieves a weight of 23.5 lbs in the 18x12 configuration, providing unsprung weight reduction compared to traditional cast wheels despite the aggressive 12-inch width. This weight control becomes critical at larger widths, where conventional cast construction would result in significantly heavier wheels that compromise handling dynamics and acceleration response.

The wheel utilizes flow formed construction, a manufacturing process that begins with a cast wheel blank before applying specialized forming techniques. During flow forming, the wheel barrel is spun at high speed while rollers apply controlled pressure, stretching and compressing the aluminum to create a denser grain structure. This process increases the material strength while reducing weight compared to traditional cast wheels, positioning flow formed construction between cast and forged methods in terms of both performance and cost.

The SM-10 features Profile 3 face design, providing the deep concave geometry suited for wide applications like the 12-inch width. The 67.1mm center bore specification delivers precise hub-centric mounting for Chevrolet applications. The ET41 offset positions the wheel mounting surface to optimize suspension geometry while accommodating the aggressive 12-inch width within the wheel well. Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
