AWE Non-Resonated Downpipes for 2013-2015 Audi RS 5 B8.5 4.2L

The 4.2-liter FSI V8 in the B8.5 Audi RS 5 revs past 8,000 rpm and has one of the best naturally aspirated voices Audi ever built, but the factory post-cat downpipes carry resonators that smother much of it. The AWE Non-Resonated Downpipes remove those resonators and replace them with straight, free-flowing T304L stainless tubes, so the V8's full howl comes through, especially at the top of the rev range.

These are post-catalyst downpipes: the factory catalytic converters stay on the car, and AWE states that no modifications are made to emissions equipment. They mate directly to the factory cat-back, and they pair with AWE's RS 5 cat-back exhausts if you want a complete AWE system. For a more refined tone with a little less volume, AWE also builds a resonated version.

Like every AWE exhaust component, these downpipes are developed, tested and manufactured in-house, CNC mandrel-bent from U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel, and they carry the AWE Lifetime Exhaust Warranty, Perfect Fitment Guarantee and No Check Engine Light Guarantee. No tune is needed.

Fitment Notes

• Fits the 2013-2015 Audi RS 5 Coupe and 2014-2015 RS 5 Cabriolet (B8.5) with the 4.2L V8. It does not fit the S4, S5, the 2018+ RS 5 2.9T, or 2010-2012 S5 4.2L cars.
• Bolts in place of the factory post-cat downpipes; no tune required.
