Overview

The S58 twin-turbo inline-six in the G80 M3 and G82 M4 has a smooth, hard-edged voice that the factory resonated mid-section mutes. The AWE Non-Resonated Performance Mid Pipes replace that section with dual 3-inch straight T304L stainless tubes, opening up the tone and taking weight off the car when paired with an AWE exhaust.

These mid pipes are designed as the front half of an AWE G8X system. When you pair them with the AWE SwitchPath™ or Track Edition exhaust, the inlet adapters those systems normally use to mate to the factory mid-section are not needed, and the joints line up perfectly. The full AWE Track Edition with these mid pipes saves 13 lb over the stock exhaust. Because cut points differ between brands, AWE does not guarantee them with another manufacturer's exhaust, so they are sold for AWE exhausts only.

The pipes are CNC mandrel-bent from U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel and manufactured in-house by AWE. They bolt in place of the factory mid-section with no cutting and no tune, and carry the AWE Lifetime Warranty, Perfect Fitment Guarantee and No CEL Guarantee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use them with the stock exhaust?
No. AWE designed them for AWE G8X exhausts only. Cut points differ, so they are not guaranteed with the factory or another brand's exhaust.

Will they make my M3 louder?
Yes. Removing the resonators adds volume and edge, especially with the SwitchPath™ valves open or with the Track Edition.

Do they fit convertibles?
The AWE G8X exhaust suite is not guaranteed to fit convertible models because of extra factory bracing.

Do I need a tune?
No. AWE guarantees no check engine light when they are installed properly.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
