Overview

The F90 BMW M5 has a twin-turbo V8 that deserves more than the factory resonated mid section allows. The AWE Non-Resonated Performance Mid Pipes replace that section with a 3-inch stainless steel x-pipe that mates to the factory axle-back or to an AWE axle-back, adding tone and volume and letting the V8 breathe through a clean, straight-through path.

AWE handcrafts the mid pipes from U.S.-sourced CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel and engineers, designs and manufactures them in-house. The precision-engineered x-pipe is the same design AWE uses in its F90 M5 cat-back systems. The AWE M5 exhaust suite is fully modular, so you can start with the mid pipes or an axle-back and add the other section at any time.

When paired with the factory exhaust, installation requires cutting the factory mid pipe. AWE backs the mid pipes with its No Check Engine Light Guarantee, Perfect Fitment Guarantee and Lifetime Exhaust Warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it work with my stock axle-back?
Yes. It mates to the factory axle-back, but the factory mid pipe must be cut to install it.

Is this a full cat-back?
No. It replaces only the mid section. AWE sells axle-backs and full cat-backs for the F90 M5 separately.

Does it fit the M5 CS or 2022-2023 M5?
Call us first. Fitment sources confirm 2018-2021 M5 and M5 Competition models.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
