AWE Non-Resonated Touring Edition Exhaust for 2018-2024 Audi B9 SQ5 3.0T

If you want your Audi SQ5 to sound like the performance SUV it is, AWE's Non-Resonated Touring Edition Exhaust is the more vocal of the two Touring systems AWE builds for the B9 platform. It fits the 2018-2024 SQ5 and 2021-2024 SQ5 Sportback with the 3.0-liter turbo V6 and delivers a fuller, rawer tone under throttle, without turning the cabin into a drone box on the highway.

The factory valved exhaust is replaced with AWE's patented 180 Technology mufflers, which cancel only the frequencies that cause drone at cruise, plus an electronic valve simulator that keeps the car free of warning lights. The non-resonated post-catalyst downpipe sections skip the inline resonators used on the resonated version, so more of the V6's growl comes through. An SQ5-specific X-pipe pulls the two banks together for a crisp, exotic wail at the top of the rev range.

Every system is handcrafted by AWE in the USA from 2.5-inch CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel and bolts on in place of the factory hardware, working with both the standard and sport differentials. It reuses your OE tip trims so the rear of the SQ5 still looks factory-clean. How is it different from the resonated version?
It leaves out the inline resonators on the downpipe sections, so it is a little louder and more aggressive. The 180 Technology mufflers still cancel cruise drone.

Do I need a tune?
No. AWE lists no tune requirement, and the included valve simulator keeps the car free of warning lights.

Will it fit with the sport differential?
Yes. AWE lists the SQ5 Touring Edition as compatible with both the standard and the sport rear differential.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.
