AWE Performance Exhaust for 2018-2023 McLaren 720S

The McLaren 720S is one of the fastest road cars of its era, and its twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 has the performance to match any exotic. What the factory exhaust does not deliver is the sound. AWE's Performance Exhaust for the 720S was developed to give the M840T a sharper, more exotic tone without giving up the car's road manners.

The heart of the system is a bespoke X-pipe that balances the two banks, cleaning up the note and raising its pitch while improving flow. T304 stainless flex sections with interlocking liners let the system move with the engine and keep stress off the joints. AWE engineered, designed, tested and manufactured the system in house in the USA, and it bolts in behind the factory catalytic converters. It is also designed to pair with AWE's 720S Performance Downpipes, sold separately, for owners building a more complete setup.

The tubing is 3-inch, .065-inch wall U.S.-sourced CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel. You can order it with AWE's 4-inch tips in Diamond Black or Chrome Silver, or without tips so you can keep the factory tips, all from this one listing. Like every AWE exhaust, it carries the AWE Fitment guarantee and No Check Engine Light guarantee.

What is the no-tips option?
It is the same Performance Exhaust supplied without AWE tips, so you can reuse the factory 720S tips.

Does it replace the catalytic converters?
No. It installs behind the factory catalytic converters. AWE Performance Downpipes are a separate product.

Does it fit the Spider?
AWE lists the 720S as one fitment; we list it for the U.S. 720S Coupe and Spider. Call us if you want to confirm before ordering.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.
