AWE Performance Exhaust for 2012-2016 Porsche 911 Carrera 991.1

The 991.1 Porsche 911 Carrera with the 3.4-liter flat-six is a beautifully balanced car, but in non-PSE form its factory exhaust plays the engine's sound down. AWE's Performance Exhaust for the 991 Carrera gives the flat-six a clearer, more mechanical voice and real gains, without valves or electronics to worry about.

The non-valved system was perfected on PDK cars and also suits the manual. AWE quotes maximum gains of up to 29 hp and 33 lb-ft of torque, along with a weight saving of about 12 lb over the factory parts it replaces. The result is a sharper throttle response and a sound that builds properly toward the top of the rev range, the way a naturally aspirated 911 should.

AWE conceived, designed and manufactured the system by hand in house. You can order it with AWE's quad Chrome Silver tips or without tips to reuse your factory tips, both from this listing. It is confirmed for cars without the factory Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) and carries AWE's Perfect Fitment guarantee.

Does it fit cars with the Porsche Sport Exhaust?
AWE confirms this non-valved system for non-PSE cars only. Please call to confirm fitment if your car has PSE.

Does it fit the Carrera S?
No. This system is for the 3.4L Carrera and Carrera 4; the 3.8L S models use a different system.

What is the no-tips option?
It is the same exhaust supplied without AWE tips so you can keep the factory tips.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.
