For S5 owners who want to fine-tune the sound of the 4.2L V8 without making it brash, AWE offers Resonated Downpipes. They feature resonators larger than the stock units along with larger-diameter tubing, producing a mellow sound volume with a richer V8 character.

They are the perfect addition to the AWE Touring Edition Exhaust for ultimate sophistication, or a way to tune the tone of the AWE Track Edition. They replace the factory post-cat resonated downpipes, so the catalytic converters stay in place, and they work with the factory exhaust too.

Built from T304L stainless steel, they bolt on with no tune required and carry AWE's Lifetime Exhaust Warranty, Perfect Fitment Guarantee and No Check Engine Light Guarantee.

Resonated or non-resonated?
Resonated keeps the sound mellow. The AWE Non-Resonated Downpipes are the louder choice.

Do they work with the Track Edition?
Yes. They tune the tone of the Track Edition and pair with the Touring Edition.

Are the cats removed?
No. These replace the post-cat sections only.

Fitment Notes

Fits the 2008-2012 Audi S5 Coupe with the 4.2L V8.
Does not fit the 2010-2012 S5 Cabriolet, which uses the 3.0T supercharged V6, or the 2013+ S5 3.0T.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
