Overview

The AWE Resonated Performance Downpipe is for B8 and B8.5 Audi 2.0T owners who want a more aggressive voice from the turbo four without giving up refinement. AWE replaced the large factory resonator in the post-cat downpipe with a more compact unit that is still straight-through, which raises the sound volume and adds a slightly deeper tone to the A4, A5 and allroad.

It bolts in where the factory post-cat downpipe sits, so the catalytic converter stays on the car. It mates to the factory exhaust, to the AWE Touring or Track Edition cat-back, or to any other exhaust designed for the stock downpipe, making it an easy first step or a natural partner to a full AWE system.

The downpipe is built from T304L stainless steel and backed by AWE's Lifetime Exhaust Warranty, Perfect Fitment Guarantee and No Check Engine Light Guarantee. No tune is needed.

Is the catalytic converter removed?
No. It replaces the post-cat section only, so the factory converter stays in place.

Will it work with my current exhaust?
Yes. It mates to the factory exhaust, AWE Touring and Track Edition exhausts, and other exhausts made for the stock downpipe.

Does it fit the 3.0T S4 or S5?
No. It is for the 2.0T four-cylinder only.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
