AWE S-FLO Carbon Intake for 2008-2012 Audi A4, A5 3.2L, S4, S5 Cabriolet B8

The factory airbox on the B8 Audi S4, S5 Cabriolet and 3.2-liter A4 and A5 uses a paper element and a plastic lid that soaks up engine-bay heat. The AWE S-FLO Carbon Intake replaces it with three AWE parts that work together: the washable S-FLO Filter, a high-flow 4-ply Nomex, fluorosilicone-lined, steel-wire-reinforced silicone air tube, and a 2x2 twill carbon fiber cover.

Because the system is fully enclosed, ambient ram air comes in through the OEM inlet and is fed beneath the carbon cover, so the filter breathes cooler air than an open element sitting in engine-bay heat. AWE measured 34% more airflow than stock and max gains of 15 hp and 11 lb-ft of torque at the crank on the 3.0T, and 7 hp and 6 lb-ft on the 3.2L.

The kit mounts in the factory location for a clean OEM look, and the molded lip on the tube seals tightly to the airbox. It is the top step of AWE's S-FLO upgrade path for these cars, and it includes all brackets and mounting hardware.

Do I need a tune?
No. AWE rates the gains on a bolt-on basis and backs the intake with its No Check Engine Light guarantee.

Does it fit the B8 S5 Coupe?
No. The 2008-2012 S5 Coupe has the 4.2L V8 and uses AWE 2660-13032. The B8.5 3.0T cars use AWE 2660-13026.

Do I oil the filter?
No. The S-FLO Filter is dry media. Wash it and let it dry before reinstalling.
