Overview

The supercharged 3.0T in the B8.5 Audi S4 and S5 pulls its air through a paper filter under a plastic lid, both of which heat up with the engine bay. The AWE S-FLO Carbon Intake replaces that setup with the washable S-FLO Filter, a high-flow 4-ply Nomex, fluorosilicone-lined, steel-wire-reinforced silicone air tube, and a 2x2 twill carbon fiber cover.

The enclosed design draws ambient ram air through the OEM inlet and feeds it beneath the carbon cover, so the filter sees cooler air than an open element would. AWE measured 34% more airflow than stock and max gains of 15 hp and 11 lb-ft of torque at the crank.

It mounts in the factory location for a sleek OEM look and comes with all brackets and mounting hardware. The carbon is finished with a UV-stabilized resin clear coat, and the whole system was designed, engineered and tested in-house at AWE.

Do I need a tune?
No. It bolts on in the factory location and AWE guarantees no check engine light.

Does it fit the 2010-2012 B8 S4?
No. The earlier B8 cars use AWE 2660-13028.

Will it work with a pulley upgrade?
Yes. The intake is a bolt-on airflow part and does not change how the supercharger is driven.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
