Overview

The S55 twin-turbo inline-six in the F80 M3 and F82/F83 M4 has two turbos to feed, and the factory intake does it through plastic boxes and paper elements. The AWE S-FLO Carbon Intake replaces both sides with fully sealed carbon fiber airboxes, each carrying an AWE S-FLO filter designed specifically to unlock performance on the F8X.

The result is 109% more air filter surface area than stock, and AWE measured peak gains of 12 hp and 10 lb-ft of torque at the crank. The easy-access design lets you inspect, remove and replace the filters without taking out the carbon cross member, and bonded aluminum fittings keep the connections secure for the long run.

The intake integrates with the OEM inlet ducting, uses the stock mounting locations and has plug-and-play MAF and breather locations, so it installs without cutting or a tune. The carbon is finished in UV-stabilized resin and clear coat, the filters are washable, and AWE backs it with its No Check Engine Light guarantee and Perfect Fitment guarantee.

Do I need a tune?
No. AWE measured its gains on a bolt-on basis and guarantees no check engine light.

Does it fit the M2 Competition?
No. The M2 Competition uses a different engine layout. This intake is for the F80 M3 and F82/F83 M4.

Can I clean the filters?
Yes. The S-FLO filters are washable and can be removed without taking out the carbon cross member.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
