AWE SwitchPath Exhaust for 2021-2025 Audi RS 6 Avant, RS 7 C8 - Diamond Black Tips

The AWE SwitchPath Cat-Back Exhaust is a bespoke dual 3-inch system for the C8 Audi RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback, built to let the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 sound as fast as it is without turning the cabin into a drone box. It keeps the factory exhaust valves and their logic, so the car still follows your MMI and Audi drive select settings: valves closed in Comfort for a refined, near-stock cruise, valves open in Dynamic for a clean, aggressive V8 roar.

At the heart of the system is a straight-through center resonator with AWE's patented 180 Technology®, tuned specifically for the 4.0TT, which cancels drone-prone frequencies even when the valves are open. Out back, AWE's parabolic ReflecTip™ oval tips in Diamond Black are 31% larger than the factory tips, fill the RS valance, and are shaped to reflect the exhaust note back toward the driver, which matters in a car with as much sound deadening as an RS 6.

The post-catalyst downpipes use factory-matched flanges and robust flex sections, the tips mount independently to the bumper at factory points, and everything is CNC mandrel-bent from U.S.-sourced T304L stainless steel in AWE's own shop. AWE dyno-tested gains are up to 8 hp and 14 lb-ft of torque at the wheels, and the system bolts on with no cutting.

Will it work with my drive select modes?
Yes. SwitchPath™ uses the factory valves, so Comfort, Auto and Dynamic behave just as they do with the stock exhaust, only with more voice.

Does it fit the RS 6 GT and performance models?
AWE confirms fitment on the RS 6 GT, and the system is built for all US C8 RS 6 Avant and RS 7 models with or without rear-wheel steering.

Will it drone on the highway?
No. The 180 Technology® center resonator cancels the frequencies that cause drone, with the valves open or closed.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists it as 50-state emissions compliant: it is a cat-back that leaves every catalytic converter and sensor in place.

Fitment Notes

• Fits the 2021-2025 Audi RS 6 Avant and RS 7 Sportback (C8) with the 4.0L twin-turbo V8, with or without rear-wheel steering, including performance models and the RS 6 GT. It does not fit the S6, S7, A6 or A7. For 2026 cars, call us before ordering.
• Direct bolt-on to the factory hangers; no cutting and no tune required.
