Overview

The Raptor R's supercharged 5.2-liter V8 is the heart of Ford's ultimate off-road truck, and the AWE SwitchPath Exhaust lets it fire on all eight. This dual 3-inch cat-back uses bespoke tailpipes for the 5.2L and a tailored X-pipe that keeps the V8 aggressive and free-flowing.

A plug-and-play OE tier-1 valve keeps 100 percent of factory operation through the exhaust button, throttle input and all four drive modes. AWE's bespoke SwitchPath muffler gives you two soundtracks: close the valve for highway comfort, or open it for the full supercharged V8. AWE dyno testing showed maximum gains of 5 hp and 5 lb-ft at the wheels.

AWE handcrafts the system from CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel, with 5-inch double-walled tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. An exhaust-mounted valve motor simulator bracket keeps the ECU happy, and locking collars keep the hangers in place off-road. Installation is a simple bolt-on with no cutting, and AWE backs the system with its Perfect Fitment and No Check Engine Light guarantees and a lifetime warranty.

Does it keep the factory exhaust modes?
Yes. The plug-and-play OE valve keeps full factory control through the button, throttle and all four drive modes.

Does it fit the 3.5L Raptor?
No. The 3.5L Gen 3 Raptor uses a different AWE system, listed separately.

Is cutting required?
No. AWE describes it as a simple bolt-on with no cutting.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
