Overview

The Mk3 Focus RS is one of the great hot hatches, and its turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost deserves a sound to match. The AWE SwitchPath Exhaust gives you two characters in one system: open the valve for the full hot-hatch snarl, or close it for a calm cruise with no drone.

The heart of the system is AWE's valved SwitchPath design, controlled with the included SwitchPath Remote, so you choose the soundtrack at the press of a button. AWE handcrafts it from 3-inch U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel in a clean, non-baffled, straight-through layout. AWE measured maximum gains of 22 hp and 19 lb-ft at the crank.

The dual 4.5-inch double-walled tips come in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. AWE designs, engineers and manufactures the system in-house in the U.S.A. and backs it with its No Check Engine Light and Perfect Fitment guarantees and the AWE Lifetime Exhaust Warranty. Prefer a fixed sound? AWE also offers Touring and Track Edition versions for the Focus RS.

Is the remote included?
Yes. This SwitchPath system comes with the SwitchPath Remote.

Does it fit the Focus ST?
No. This listing is for the 2016-2018 Focus RS only.

How hard is installation?
It is a bolt-on system, but the factory exhaust can be difficult to remove. We recommend professional installation and following AWE’s instructions.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Fits U.S.-market 2016-2018 Ford Focus RS (Mk3) with the 2.3L EcoBoost.
Not for the Focus ST or other Focus models. Please call to confirm fitment before ordering.
Bolts to the factory hangers; the original exhaust can be hard to remove, so professional installation is advised. No tune required.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
