AWE SwitchPath Exhaust for 2015-2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 Sedan W205 DPE

The 2015-2018 Mercedes-AMG C63 and C63 S sedan was the first C63 to use AMG's hand-built 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, and the AWE SwitchPath Exhaust gives it two distinct personalities. Valves placed through the system let you change its tone and volume at the touch of a button, from sophisticated to savage.

A valved H-pipe up front and valved resonators at the rear do the work. Closed, exhaust flows through the resonator chambers for a refined tone on the highway. Open, it bypasses them for a sound close to AWE's Track Edition. AWE measured gains of up to 19 hp and 26 lb-ft of torque at the crank.

This version is for sedans that came with the AMG Performance Exhaust, which AWE calls the Dynamic Performance Exhaust. It works with the factory controls, so the AMG exhaust button and drive modes you already know now operate AWE's valves, with a much wider spread between calm and loud.

The system is engineered, designed and handcrafted in-house at AWE from dual 3-inch TIG-welded, CNC mandrel-bent T-304 stainless steel. It reuses your factory tips, needs no tune, and is covered by AWE's Fitment and No Check Engine Light guarantees plus a lifetime warranty on the exhaust.

This listing is the sedan with the factory performance exhaust, part 3025-31036. It does not include the AWE remote, because the factory controls run the valves. Sedans without that option and all coupes need a different AWE part number.

How is SwitchPath different from the Track Edition?
SwitchPath adds valved rear resonators, so you can pick a quieter setting. The Track Edition has no rear resonators or valves and is loud at all times.

How do I control the valves?
On this version the valves run from the factory performance exhaust controls, so you use the same AMG button and drive modes as before.

Will it fit a 2019-2021 C63?
No. This system is only for the pre-facelift W205. We list the 2019-2021 facelift cars separately.

Does it fit the Cabriolet?
No. This system is for the C63 sedan only. Please call us about other body styles.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.
