AWE SwitchPath Exhaust for 2017-2019 Porsche 911 Carrera 991.2 PSE

The 991.2 Carrera moved the 911 to a 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six, and the factory Sport Exhaust (PSE) cars deserve a soundtrack that does that engine justice. The AWE SwitchPath Exhaust for PSE-equipped 991.2 cars gives you an exotic, constant flat-six tone when you want it and a composed cabin when you do not.

AWE designed the system as a direct bolt-on that keeps the factory push-button PSE operation, so the valves respond exactly as Porsche intended. An integrated X-pipe and true balance pipe deliver a consistent exotic tone without drone, and because there is no muffler packing, the sound will not change over time. AWE measured maximum gains of 14 hp and 17 lb-ft at the crank on a Carrera base and 11 hp and 7 lb-ft on a Carrera S.

The system is handcrafted from U.S.-sourced CNC mandrel-bent .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel in a clean, straight-through layout, and it finishes with dual 4-inch double-walled tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. Does my car need the factory PSE?
Yes. This version is only for 991.2 cars equipped with the Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE).

Will the factory exhaust button still work?
Yes. AWE retains the factory push-button PSE operation.

Does it fit the 991.1 or the GT3?
No. Those cars use different AWE systems, listed separately.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.
