AWE SwitchPath Exhaust for Porsche 991, 997.2 GT3, GT3 RS, 911 R, Chrome Silver Tips

This listing is the chrome silver tip version, part 3025-32016. The AWE SwitchPath Exhaust for the Porsche 991 GT3, GT3 RS and 911 R replaces all three factory mufflers: a center muffler delete with a true balance pipe, plus valved side muffler deletes. It is AWE's fully uncorked option for the naturally aspirated flat-six.

SwitchPath keeps the factory valve operation, so the exhaust still follows the car's ECU. At low revs with the valves closed, the thin-wall stainless system gives a deep, refined exotic tone that suits a drive to the track or a quiet start. Once the ECU opens the valves at higher rpm, the sound grows from a sophisticated street car into something close to a Cup car. AWE measured gains of up to 19 hp and 20 lb-ft of torque at the crank.

Weight drops sharply too. The factory system weighs about 65 lbs, with two 22-lb side mufflers, an 18-lb center muffler and the tips. The complete SwitchPath Exhaust, tips included, weighs only 17 lbs, a saving of 48 lbs at the very back of the car.

AWE handcrafts it in-house in the USA from U.S.-sourced CNC mandrel-bent 0.065-inch wall T304 stainless steel. The 102 mm slash-cut chrome silver tips carry the AWE logo, are double-walled and adjust individually for depth in the bumper. It bolts on with no tune, and AWE's Fitment Guarantee, No Check Engine Light Guarantee and Lifetime Warranty apply (tips carry a one-year warranty).

How is this different from the Center Muffler Delete?
The Center Muffler Delete replaces only the center muffler. SwitchPath also replaces both side mufflers with valved deletes for the full uncorked sound.

Will the valves still work?
Yes. SwitchPath keeps the factory valve operation controlled by the car's ECU.

Does it fit the 991 Carrera?
No. This system is for the GT3, GT3 RS and 911 R listed here.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.
