Overview

Factory valved exhausts decide for you when the valves open, usually based on drive mode, rpm and load. The AWE SwitchPath Remote puts that decision in your hand. Its control box overrides the factory valve control, so the valves on either the stock exhaust or the matching AWE SwitchPath Exhaust open and close only when you press a button, from quiet to aggressive with one tap.

With the SwitchPath controller installed, press the On button on the left side of the remote to open the valves, and the Off button on the right side to close them. Because the system overrides the stock valve logic, the valves stay where you put them until you press the remote again.

The kit comes as a set of two compact remotes, sized for a keychain or a cup holder, along with the wiring harness, control box and mounting hardware. It covers a wide range of valved cars, from the Audi S3, S6, S7 and SQ5 to the Ford Focus RS, Mustang Shelby GT350 and Volkswagen Golf R.

Will my valves still open automatically?
No. The remote overrides the stock valve control, so you open and close the valves with the remote.

Do I need an AWE exhaust?
No. It works with the stock valved exhaust or the matching AWE SwitchPath Exhaust.

Does it need a tune?
No. It controls the valves through its own control box.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
