The F10 M5 is BMW's twin-turbo super sedan, and its S63 V8 deserves a soundtrack to match its pace. The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust is an axle-back that adds depth and presence to the V8 under load, then settles into a smooth, drone-free tone on the motorway, making it a fitting companion to BMW's flagship sport sedan.

Touring Edition systems use AWE's patented drone-cancelling solution, 180 Technology. The axle-back design delivers power with simplicity: AWE quotes peak gains of 12 hp and 26 lb-ft and maximum gains of 28 hp and 34 lb-ft at the crank. Laser-cut fixtures ensure a precise fit, and the system bolts to the factory mounting points.

AWE handcrafts the axle-back from 3-inch T304 stainless steel and finishes it with four 4-inch double-walled, slash-cut tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. It is engineered, designed, dyno tested and manufactured in-house at AWE in the USA, and it is backed by AWE's No Check Engine Light guarantee, Perfect Fitment guarantee and lifetime exhaust warranty. As an axle-back, it is also an easy install for an experienced home mechanic or any professional shop.

Does it fit the 550i?
No. This axle-back is engineered for the F10 M5 only.

Does it work with manual and DCT cars?
Yes. It fits the M5 with either the 6-speed manual or the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Will it drone on the highway?
AWE’s 180 Technology cancels the frequencies that cause drone at cruise.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
