Overview

The 2.3L EcoBoost makes the Mustang quick, but the stock mufflers leave it sounding flat. The AWE Touring Edition Axle-Back Exhaust wakes up the turbo four with a refined, civil tone around town and a proper bark when you drop the hammer, all without drone.

AWE builds it from 2.5-inch, U.S.-sourced CNC mandrel-bent .065-inch wall T304 stainless. The Touring resonators are packed with AWE's blend of stainless and composite material to deliver just the right amount of aggression from the 2.3T, and the clean straight-through design improves flow over the factory mufflers.

Dual 4-inch double-walled tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black carry the AWE logo and adjust individually for depth in the bumper. The system is engineered, designed and manufactured in-house in the USA, and it carries the AWE No CEL guarantee, Perfect Fitment guarantee and lifetime exhaust warranty.

Does it work with the active valve exhaust?
No. It fits EcoBoost Mustangs without the factory active valve exhaust.

Does it fit the convertible?
Yes. Our sources list all 2015-2023 EcoBoost Mustangs without active exhaust, coupe or convertible.

Will I need to cut anything?
AWE calls it a direct bolt-on. One retailer notes some cars need the factory muffler assembly cut, so please call us to discuss your car.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
