Overview

The 2011-2014 S197 Mustang GT brought the 5.0L Coyote V8 back, and the AWE Touring Edition Axle-Back lets it be heard. It is built for owners who want a hearty muscle tone without having to live with in-cabin drone on the highway.

AWE constructs it from full 3-inch, U.S.-sourced CNC mandrel-bent .065-inch wall T304L stainless and fits it with AWE's proprietary 180 Technology mufflers. The result roars when you want it and stays quiet when you need it. The clean, non-baffled straight-through design also improves flow over the factory mufflers.

Dual 4.5-inch double-walled slash-cut tips come in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. The system is a direct bolt-on that reuses the factory ball-and-socket clamp, and AWE also confirms fitment on S197 GT500 models with dual exhaust tips. It is backed by AWE's No CEL guarantee, Perfect Fitment guarantee and lifetime warranty.

Does it fit the Shelby GT500?
Yes for 2011-2012 GT500 with dual tips. It is not designed for the 2013-2014 GT500.

Does it fit the convertible?
Yes. Our sources list GT coupe and convertible models.

Does it fit the Boss 302?
One retailer lists the 2012-2013 Boss 302. Please call us to confirm before ordering.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Fits U.S.-market 2011-2014 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L coupe and convertible, and 2011-2012 Shelby GT500.
Not for 2013-2014 GT500, V6 or 2010-and-earlier models. Boss 302: please call to confirm fitment before ordering.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
