AWE Touring Edition Exhaust for 2009-2017 Volkswagen CC 2.0T, Diamond Black Tips

Volkswagen's CC brought coupe-like lines to the Passat platform, but its 2.0T four-cylinder left the factory with a muted, anonymous exhaust note. The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust gives the CC 2.0T a voice to match its styling: a velvety European tone that stays civilized at part throttle and opens into an assertive, sporting note when you put your foot down.

The key is AWE 180 Technology, the drone-cancelling design AWE patented. Sound waves are routed into tuned reflection chambers and returned to the exhaust stream 180 degrees out of phase, cancelling the narrow band of frequencies that cause highway drone. It is paired with a straight-through resonator, so the system flows freely while keeping the cabin comfortable on long drives. AWE lists peak gains of 6 hp at 6,000 rpm and 6 lb-ft at 2,600 rpm at the crank.

This version keeps the CC's factory single-side layout and ends in two 90mm Diamond Black tips, so it fits under the stock valance without any trimming or replacement parts.

Do I need a new rear valance?
No. This single-side version fits the factory CC 2.0T valance.

No. This system is made for the front-wheel-drive 2.0T.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.
