AWE Touring Edition Exhaust for 2012-2016 BMW 328i / 428i (F3X), Quad Diamond Black Tips

For 328i and 428i owners who want their four-cylinder BMW to look as purposeful as an M car from behind, the AWE Touring Edition Exhaust in quad-tip form adds two more outlets on the passenger side. Four 80mm double-walled Diamond Black tips, two at each corner, give the F30 and F32 a balanced, aggressive rear view.

The quad layout does require trimming the right side of the rear bumper. AWE makes this precise with 3D-printed, bolt-on marking templates for both Non-M Sport and M Sport bumpers, sold separately, so the cut-out matches the factory left side.

Sound is handled by AWE's 180 Technology. Inside the resonators, ports feed reflection chambers that send selected sound waves back into the flow 180 degrees out of phase, cancelling the droning frequencies while leaving the turbo four with a crisp, sporting tone. AWE lists gains of up to 13 hp and 13 lb-ft at the crank from the straight-through 3-inch design.

The quad version is made specifically for the N20 and N26 engines in the 328i and 428i. Each system is handcrafted in-house by AWE from 3-inch U.S.-sourced, CNC mandrel-bent T304L stainless steel and is backed by AWE's Perfect Fitment guarantee, No Check Engine Light guarantee and lifetime warranty.

Is the marking template included?
No. AWE sells the Non-M Sport and M Sport bumper templates separately; call us and we will match the right one to your car.

Will it fit my 330i or 430i?
No. AWE offers the quad layout for the N20/N26 328i and 428i only.

Is any pipe cutting required?
Yes. The factory mid pipe is cut at its marked factory point where the axle-back connects.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Fitment Notes

• Axle-back: requires cutting the factory mid pipe at its marked factory cut point (the dimple). Mid pipe not included.
• Trim the passenger side of the rear bumper using the AWE template, cut the factory mid pipe at the marked point, then clamp the axle-back to the factory hangers, per AWE. No tune.
