The rear mufflers use AWE's patented 180 Technology to cancel the frequencies that cause drone, without muting the car when you open it up. Up front, a precision-engineered H-pipe delivers muscle tone without rasp, and slip-fit inlet adapters give a perfect fit to the factory headers while leaving an open 3-inch connection. AWE quotes maximum gains of 4 hp and 3 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. If you later want more volume, AWE's Touring-to-Track Conversion swaps in straight rear sections.

No. AWE cat-back systems for the S550 are not compatible with convertibles.
