Overview

The supercharged 3.0T in the 8R Audi Q5 is a willing engine trapped behind a quiet factory exhaust. The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust gives this premium crossover a refined, sporting voice that matches its performance, without sacrificing the comfort that makes it a great daily driver.

AWE's sound-cancellation solution, 180 Technology, removes the frequencies that cause cabin drone at cruise, and the sound is engineered for the Q5's eight-speed Tiptronic transmission. An X-pipe improves exhaust scavenging and sharpens the tone. AWE quotes gains of 8 hp and 9 lb-ft at the crank, and the same in-house development program produced AWE's quarter-mile record-setting Q5.

The system is crafted from 2.5-inch T304 stainless steel and installs as a direct bolt-on. It finishes with dual 4-inch (102mm) adjustable tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black that fill the factory rear valance. AWE backs it with its No Check Engine Light and Fitment guarantees and a lifetime exhaust warranty. For more volume, AWE non-resonated downpipes are available separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it fit the Q5 2.0T or TDI?
No. This system is for the 3.0T supercharged V6 Q5 only.

Does it fit the SQ5?
No. The SQ5 uses a quad-outlet layout and has its own AWE Touring Edition system.

Will it drone at highway speeds?
The Touring Edition uses AWE’s 180 Technology to cancel the frequencies that cause drone at cruise.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
