The B8 and B8.5 Audi A5 2.0T is a handsome grand tourer, yet the factory exhaust leaves its turbocharged four-cylinder sounding flat. AWE's Touring Edition Exhaust gives the A5 Coupe and Cabriolet a voice that matches the styling: quiet and refined when you are cruising or idling, then a crisp, rising wail when you put your foot down.

The stock system is full of crimped tubing that disrupts flow. AWE redesigned the path with CAD modeling and smooth mandrel bends, and quotes 8 to 9 horsepower and 6 to 7 lb-ft of torque at the crank. Inside the mufflers, AWE 180 Technology® cancels the narrow band of frequencies that causes drone, so long highway drives stay comfortable with the top up or down.

All six versions AWE builds for the A5 2.0T are on this one listing. Single Outlet places two tips together on the left side. Dual Outlet uses one tip at each rear corner. Quad Outlet runs two tips per side and needs a quad-tip rear valance. Every tip is a double-walled 90mm (3.5-inch) slash-cut design with an engraved AWE logo, offered in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black, and each one adjusts on its own so you can set depth and stagger. Which outlet layout should I order?
Pick the layout that matches the openings in your rear valance. Single Outlet suits a valance with both tips on the left. Dual Outlet suits a valance with one opening at each corner, such as the A5 Cabriolet or A5 3.2 valance. Quad Outlet needs a quad-tip valance, sold separately.

Does it fit the Cabriolet?
Yes. AWE designed this system for both the A5 Coupe and the A5 Cabriolet with the 2.0T engine.

Will it drone on the highway?
No. AWE 180 Technology® is built into the mufflers to cancel the frequencies that cause cruise drone.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.
