Overview

The B9 Audi S4 pairs a turbocharged 3.0T V6 with everyday sedan comfort, and the AWE Touring Edition Exhaust keeps that balance while adding the signature AWE tone. It sounds rich and purposeful when you push, then settles down for the commute and long highway drives.

Touring Edition systems use AWE's proprietary drone-cancelling solution, 180 Technology, to remove the frequencies that cause cabin drone at cruise. Post-catalyst downpipes and a precision-engineered X-pipe are included, and the clean, straight-through design maximizes performance. AWE quotes maximum gains of 16 hp and 17 lb-ft at the crank for its B9 S4 exhaust range.

AWE engineers, designs and manufactures the system in-house in the USA from dual 2.5-inch CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel. Four 4-inch double-walled tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black finish the rear. It works with both standard and sport differentials, installs as a direct bolt-on and carries AWE's Perfect Fitment and No Check Engine Light guarantees and a lifetime warranty.

Is this the quietest AWE option for the B9 S4?
Yes. The Touring Edition with 180 Technology is AWE’s most refined B9 S4 system. Track and valved SwitchPath versions are louder.

Does it work with the sport differential?
Yes. AWE lists it as compatible with both standard and sport differentials.

Does it fit the S5?
No. The B9 S5 coupe, cabriolet and Sportback use different AWE part numbers.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
