Overview

The B9 S5 Sportback blends coupe styling with five-door practicality, and its 3.0T V6 has far more character than the factory exhaust lets on. AWE's Touring Edition Exhaust brings out that character in a refined way, with a richer tone under acceleration and a calm, drone-free cabin when cruising.

The Touring Edition centres on AWE's proprietary 180 Technology drone cancellation and a mid-merge that AWE engineered specifically for the acoustics of the Sportback body. Every AWE S5 Sportback system includes post-catalyst downpipes and a precision-engineered X-pipe, and this version uses non-resonated downpipes. AWE quotes maximum gains of 16 hp and 17 lb-ft of torque at the crank, and the system works with both standard and sport differentials.

The exhaust is handcrafted from dual 2.5-inch CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel and finishes in four 102mm double-walled tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. It is a direct bolt-on system engineered, designed and manufactured in-house by AWE in the USA, and it is covered by AWE's Perfect Fitment and No Check Engine Light guarantees and lifetime exhaust warranty. AWE also offers the Track Edition and the valved SwitchPath system for the same car.

No. This system is engineered for the S5 Sportback; AWE makes separate systems for the coupe.

Does it work with the sport differential?
Yes. AWE lists it as compatible with standard and sport differentials.

Is a tune required?
No. It is a direct bolt-on system.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
