Overview

The Mk3 Focus RS is one of the great hot hatches, and its turbocharged 2.3L EcoBoost deserves more voice than the factory system allows. The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust, in its non-resonated form, brings out the hatch's raspy turbo character while staying civil enough for daily driving and long trips.

Touring Edition systems use AWE's proprietary drone-cancelling solution, 180 Technology, to remove the frequencies that cause cabin drone at cruise. Deleting the resonator gives this version a slightly bolder tone than the resonated Touring Edition. The clean, non-baffled, straight-through design maximizes performance, and AWE quotes maximum gains of 22 hp and 19 lb-ft at the crank across its Focus RS exhaust range.

AWE handcrafts the cat-back from 3-inch U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel and finishes it with 4.5-inch double-walled tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. It is designed, engineered and manufactured in-house in the USA, installs as a direct bolt-on and carries AWE's Perfect Fitment and No Check Engine Light guarantees and a lifetime exhaust warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does non-resonated mean?
This version omits the mid resonator, so it sounds a little bolder than the resonated Touring Edition while 180 Technology still controls drone.

Does it fit the Focus ST?
No. This system is engineered for the Mk3 Focus RS only.

Is a tune required?
No. It is a direct bolt-on and needs no tune.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
