AWE Touring Edition Exhaust for 2017-2025 Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman

The turbocharged 718 Boxster and Cayman are brilliant to drive, but the flat-four's factory exhaust note is muted. The AWE Touring Edition Exhaust is AWE's refined 718 option: it brings out a rich, purposeful tone under load and keeps the cabin relaxed on a long drive.

AWE engineers, designs and builds the system in-house from U.S.-sourced, CNC mandrel-bent .065-inch wall T304 stainless. The clean straight-through layout maximizes flow, and AWE measured maximum gains of 9.5 hp at 7,200 rpm and 6 lb-ft from 4,370 rpm at the crank across its 718 range. The Touring Edition also saves about 6.5 lb over the factory system.

Twin 4-inch (102mm) double-walled center-exit tips come in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. AWE states the system does not interfere with factory emissions equipment and is a direct bolt-on. If you want more volume later, a Touring-to-Track conversion is available separately.

How does it compare with the Track Edition?
Touring is quieter and more refined; Track is AWE’s loudest 718 option and saves about 10.5 lb.

Does it fit the 718 GTS 4.0, GT4 or Spyder?
No. It is for the turbocharged four-cylinder 718 Boxster and Cayman only.

Does it keep the PSE button working?
The Touring Edition is non-valved. For PSE button operation, AWE offers the SwitchPath version.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

• Fits U.S.-market 2017-2025 Porsche 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman with the 2.0L or 2.5L turbo flat-four (base, T, S, Style Edition and 2018-2019 GTS 2.5).
