Overview

The Volkswagen CC was VW's four-door coupe, a car bought for its looks as much as its turbocharged 2.0T engine. AWE's Touring Edition Exhaust gives the CC 2.0T the attitude its styling suggests, with a signature AWE tone and a dual-outlet layout that makes the rear of the car look as good as the profile.

The system features AWE's patented drone-killing 180 Technology, which removes the boom that usually comes with a freer-flowing cat-back while leaving the sound under acceleration intact. AWE quotes maximum gains of up to 6 hp at 6,000 rpm and 6 lb-ft at 2,600 rpm at the crank. Because it is a Touring Edition, it stays composed on the highway, which suits a car that spends most of its life as a comfortable daily driver.

Like every AWE exhaust, it is designed, engineered and manufactured in house at AWE from stainless steel and installs as a direct bolt-on with simple installation. Tips come in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black, selectable on this listing. One important requirement: the dual-outlet layout needs the OEM CC VR6 rear valance and heat shield, which are purchased separately because the standard 2.0T valance has only one cutout. Do I need a different rear valance?
Yes. The dual-outlet system requires the OEM CC VR6 rear valance and heat shield, purchased separately.

Does it fit the CC VR6 4Motion?
No. This system is for the 2.0T only.

Will it drone?
The Touring Edition uses 180 Technology to cancel drone at cruise.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
