Overview
The AWE Track Edition Exhaust in axle-back form is the most direct way to make a Gen6 Camaro's 6.2-liter V8 sound the way it should. It removes the restrictive factory rear mufflers entirely and replaces them with mandrel-bent stainless pipes, giving the car a loud, raw, unfiltered bark from cold start to redline.
Track Edition is AWE's no-compromise build. There are no mufflers in the axle-back section, just smooth 3-inch tubing that runs straight to the tips, so the sound is aggressive and the V8's character comes through at every rpm. Expect noticeable volume at cruise; drivers who want a calmer highway ride should look at the Touring Edition instead. Choose dual outlets, one 4.5-inch tip per side, or quad outlets, two 4.5-inch tips per side, to match your rear valance, in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black double-walled tips.
The pipes are 3-inch U.S.-sourced CNC mandrel-bent .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel and bolt to the factory mid-pipes and hangers. The axle-back covers the 2016-2024 Camaro SS, 2020-2024 LT1 V8 and 2017-2024 ZL1. AWE designs and builds it in-house in the USA with its No Check Engine Light guarantee, Perfect Fitment guarantee and lifetime exhaust warranty, and a Track-to-Touring conversion is available from AWE if you ever want to tone it down.

Frequently Asked Questions
Dual or quad outlet: which do I need?
Match your rear valance. Cars with a quad-tip valance (typically NPP dual-mode exhaust cars) use the quad outlet version; cars with one tip per side use the dual outlet version.
How loud is it?
Track Edition is the loudest AWE option and will drone at some highway speeds. For a quieter cruise, choose the Touring Edition.
Does it fit the convertible?
Several AWE dealers list the axle-back for convertibles; please call us to confirm for your car.
Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.
Fitment Notes
- Fits U.S.-market 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro SS, 2020-2024 Camaro LT1 and 2017-2024 Camaro ZL1 coupes.
- Convertible owners: please call to confirm fitment before ordering.
- AWE Gen6 Camaro exhausts are not valved; the factory NPP valve wiring, where fitted, is left unplugged without affecting how the car runs.
- Does not fit the 2.0T four-cylinder or 3.6L V6 Camaro.
- Bolts to the factory mid-pipes and hangers with no cutting, per AWE. No tune required.
- AWE does not accept returns of the Track Edition for sound preference, so please be sure of the sound level you want before ordering.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.
Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.
Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.
Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.
Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
