Overview

The B9 S5 Sportback blends coupe styling with hatchback practicality, and the AWE Track Edition Exhaust gives its 3.0T V6 an unfiltered voice. It is the most aggressive system in AWE's S5 Sportback lineup, built for drivers who want the turbocharged V6 heard clearly every time they press the throttle.

The Track Edition features a mid-merge engineered specifically for the acoustical needs of the B9 S5 Sportback. Post-catalyst downpipes and a precision-engineered X-pipe are included, and the clean, straight-through design maximizes performance. AWE quotes maximum gains of 16 hp and 17 lb-ft at the crank.

AWE engineers, designs and manufactures the system in-house in the USA from dual 2.5-inch CNC mandrel-bent, U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel. Four 4-inch double-walled tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black finish the rear. It is compatible with standard and sport differentials, bolts on directly and carries AWE's Perfect Fitment and No Check Engine Light guarantees and a lifetime warranty.

How loud is the Track Edition?
It is AWE’s most aggressive S5 Sportback system, with noticeably more volume than the Touring Edition.

Does it fit the S5 coupe or cabriolet?
No. This system is for the S5 Sportback only; the coupe and cabriolet use different AWE part numbers.

Does it work with the sport differential?
Yes. AWE lists it as compatible with both standard and sport differentials.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

  • Fits U.S.-market 2018-2025 Audi S5 Sportback (B9/B9.5) Premium Plus and Prestige, and 2020-2025 S5 Sportback Premium, 3.0T.
  • Not for the S5 coupe, S5 cabriolet, S4 or RS 5.
  • Direct bolt-on, per AWE. No tune required.
  • AWE does not accept returns of the Track Edition for sound preference, so please listen to the clip above before ordering.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
