The 8V Audi S3 packs a 2.0-liter turbocharged four and quattro all-wheel drive into a compact sedan, which makes it one of the quickest small cars of its generation. Its valved factory exhaust is tuned for refinement, not drama. AWE's Track Edition Exhaust for the 2015-2020 S3 removes that restraint for drivers who want the sound to match the performance.

The Track Edition is a clean, straight-through cat-back with no valves, so it stays open all the time. That gives the S3 a loud, raw tone at every throttle position, best suited to enthusiasts who enjoy track days and spirited driving more than quiet commutes. If you want a choice between quiet and loud, AWE's valved SwitchPath Exhaust is the alternative for this car.

AWE designs, engineers and manufactures the system in house from CNC mandrel-bent 3-inch and 2.5-inch U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel. It installs as a direct bolt-on for factory-like simplicity, and it finishes with four 4-inch (102mm) double-walled, slash-cut tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black, selectable on this listing. Follow AWE's installation guide for the factory valve connectors. It is backed by AWE's No CEL and Perfect Fitment guarantees and a lifetime warranty.

How loud is the Track Edition?
Very loud. It has no valves, so it is always open. Choose the SwitchPath Exhaust if you want a quiet mode.

Does it fit the 8Y S3?
No. The 2022+ 8Y S3 uses a different AWE system.

Does it fit the A3?
No. This system is for the S3 only.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Fitment Notes

  • Fits U.S.-market 2015-2020 Audi S3 (8V) 2.0T quattro sedan.
  • Not for the A3, RS3 or the 2022+ 8Y S3.
  • Direct bolt-on, per AWE. Plug the factory valve connectors as shown in AWE’s guide. No tune required.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
