Where the Touring Edition uses AWE's 180 Technology® to tame drone, the Track Edition is built for drivers who want the most sound from the B8 S5. AWE rates the system at 18 hp and 12 lb-ft at the crank, and it bolts directly to the factory downpipes with no cutting.

The system is handcrafted by AWE in the USA from 2.5-inch T304 stainless tubing and finishes in four 3.5-inch tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. AWE also offers non-resonated and resonated downpipes for the 4.2L, sold separately, for owners who want more.

How loud is the Track Edition?
Loud. With no rear mufflers it delivers the full V8 voice, with noticeable volume at cruise. The Touring Edition is the quieter choice.

Does it fit the S5 3.0T?
No. This system is engineered only for the 4.2L V8 S5 coupe. The 3.0T S5 and S5 Cabriolet use a different layout.

Do I need new downpipes?
No. It bolts to the factory downpipes. AWE downpipes are optional.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.

Do I need a tune?
No. It is a cat-back and AWE guarantees no check engine light.
