AWE Track Edition Exhaust for 2016-2018 Ford Mk3 Focus RS

The Mk3 Focus RS is one of the great modern hot hatches, and AWE's Track Edition Exhaust turns up its turbocharged 2.3L EcoBoost voice without bringing drone along for the ride. It is the most direct and unfiltered system in the AWE Focus RS line-up, built for owners who want the car to sound as eager as it drives.

The Track Edition uses a clean, non-baffled, straight-through layout from the factory connection point back, with no resonators in the path. AWE quotes maximum gains of 22 hp and 19 lb-ft of torque at the crank for its Focus RS cat-back systems. Compared with the Touring Edition, which carries AWE's 180 Technology drone-cancelling resonators, the Track Edition is noticeably louder and more aggressive under load.

The system is handcrafted from 3-inch, U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel and finishes in 4.5-inch double-walled tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black that fill the RS rear diffuser openings. It is a direct bolt-on to the factory hangers and is engineered, designed and manufactured in-house by AWE in the U.S.A. AWE backs it with its Perfect Fitment and No Check Engine Light guarantees and the AWE lifetime exhaust warranty. A Track-to-Touring conversion is available later if you decide you want a quieter cruise.

No. This system is made only for the all-wheel-drive Mk3 Focus RS.

How loud is the Track Edition?
It is the loudest of AWE's Focus RS options because it has no resonators; the Touring Edition is the quieter choice.

Is a tune required?
No. It is a direct bolt-on cat-back.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.
