AWE Track Edition Exhaust for 2015-2017 Ford S550 Mustang GT

The Coyote V8 in the 2015-2017 S550 Mustang GT has a great voice, and the factory cat-back keeps most of it bottled up. AWE's Track Edition Exhaust is the unleashed option in the AWE Mustang GT line: a full 3-inch cat-back with a precision-engineered H-pipe and a clean, non-baffled, straight-through path from the factory catalytic converters to the bumper.

Without the 180 Technology resonators used on the Touring Edition, the Track Edition delivers a louder, rawer V8 note at full throttle while staying composed when you are simply driving. AWE quotes maximum gains of 8 hp and 18 lb-ft of torque at the crank for its S550 GT cat-back systems, and the H-pipe balances pulses between banks for a smoother, more refined tone than an open crossover-less layout.

Each system is handcrafted from U.S.-sourced, CNC mandrel-bent .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel and finishes in 4-inch double-walled tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. It bolts to the factory hangers and mounting points with no cutting, and it is engineered, designed and manufactured in-house by AWE in the USA. It is covered by AWE's Perfect Fitment and No Check Engine Light guarantees and the AWE lifetime exhaust warranty. AWE has not approved fitment on GT Convertible models.

Does it fit the GT Convertible?
No. AWE has not approved this system for S550 GT Convertible models.

Does it fit 2018 and newer Mustang GT?
No. The 2018+ GT has a different exhaust layout; this system is for 2015-2017 fastback models.

Is a tune required?
No. It is a direct bolt-on cat-back that works with the factory calibration.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.
