AWE Track Edition Exhaust for 2006-2010 VW Mk5 Jetta 2.0T / GLI

The Mk5 Jetta 2.0T and GLI brought the FSI turbo engine from the GTI into a more grown-up sedan, and the AWE Track Edition Exhaust brings out the same eager, turbocharged edge. This straight-through cat-back trades the muted factory note for a crisp, purposeful sound that sharpens up under boost and settles to a deep idle.

AWE quotes maximum gains of 20 hp and 14 lb-ft at the crank for its Mk5 Jetta 2.0T exhaust. The system is handcrafted from 2.5-inch CNC mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel with a centrally located muffler, and the Track Edition omits the 180 Technology resonator used on AWE's Touring Edition, which makes it the louder, more aggressive option. An adapter at the front retains compatibility with the stock downpipe and its sleeve clamp, so installation is a direct bolt-on.

The rear section ends in twin 90mm double-walled, slash-cut tips that can be adjusted for a flush look in the bumper. Choose Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. The system is engineered, designed and manufactured in-house by AWE in the USA and comes with AWE's Perfect Fitment and No Check Engine Light guarantees plus the AWE lifetime warranty (one year on tip finishes). No. The 2.5L sedan uses a different AWE system.

Does it work with the factory downpipe?
Yes. AWE includes an adapter for stock downpipe compatibility and retains the factory sleeve clamp.

I have a 2006 GLI. Will it fit?
Our sources list the GLI from 2007; please call us to confirm fitment for a 2006 car.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.
