AWE Track Edition Exhaust for VW Mk5 Jetta 2.5L / Jetta SportWagen 2.5L

The 2.5-liter five-cylinder in the Mk5 Jetta and the Jetta SportWagen has an odd firing order that sounds great once it can breathe, and the AWE Track Edition Exhaust is built to let it do exactly that. It is the more vocal of AWE's two editions for this engine: a raw, straight-through cat-back that brings out the warble of the inline-five without turning every drive into a chore.

AWE designed the system around a single, centrally located muffler with composite acoustic and stainless packing, then removed the rear resonator used on the Touring Edition for a fuller, more aggressive tone. The tubing is 2.5-inch CNC mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel, so the flow path stays smooth from the factory connection to the tips, and the whole system bolts to the stock hangers without cutting.

At the back, twin 90mm double-walled, slash-cut tips exit on one side just like the factory layout. The tips are individually adjustable so you can center them in the bumper cut-out, and they come in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. The system is engineered, designed and manufactured in-house by AWE in the USA and is covered by AWE's Perfect Fitment and No Check Engine Light guarantees plus the AWE lifetime warranty (one year on tip finishes). Does it fit the Mk6 Jetta sedan 2.5L?
No. The 2011-2013 Mk6 Jetta sedan uses a different AWE system.

Does it fit the Jetta 2.0T or GLI?
No. This listing is for 2.5L five-cylinder cars only.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.
