The 2011-2013 Mk6 Jetta sedan with the 2.5-liter five-cylinder is a roomy, practical car with an engine that has more character than the stock muffler admits. The AWE Track Edition Exhaust gives that five-cylinder its signature off-beat growl back, with a bold, straight-through cat-back made for owners who enjoy hearing the engine work.

AWE handcrafts the system from 2.5-inch CNC mandrel-bent T304 stainless steel and routes it to a centrally located muffler, keeping the flow path clean and the weight down compared with the factory pieces. The Track Edition leaves out the 180 Technology resonators found on AWE's Touring Edition, so it is the louder and more aggressive choice for this car. Installation is a direct bolt-on to the factory hangers and connection point, with no cutting and no tune required.

Twin 90mm double-walled, slash-cut tips exit on the left side in the factory position, finished in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black. The tips are adjustable so you can set them evenly in the bumper. Like every AWE exhaust, this system is engineered and manufactured in-house in the USA and backed by AWE's Perfect Fitment and No Check Engine Light guarantees along with the AWE lifetime warranty (one year on tip finishes). No. AWE guarantees no check engine light with this cat-back.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.
