AWE Track Edition Exhaust for 2012-2018 VW Mk6 Jetta GLI 2.0T / Jetta 1.8T

The Mk6 Jetta GLI and the 1.8T Jetta are light, willing turbocharged sedans, and the factory exhaust hides most of their personality. The AWE Track Edition Exhaust unlocks it: a straight-through, non-resonated cat-back that gives the EA888 a crisp, motivated voice under load and a clean idle that never sounds raspy.

AWE builds the system from 2.5-inch CNC mandrel-bent T-304 stainless steel with a centrally located muffler, so the gas path stays smooth and the car keeps a balanced, grown-up tone at part throttle. Because the Track Edition skips the 180 Technology resonators used on the Touring Edition, it is the louder, more aggressive of the two. It connects to the factory downpipe, uses the original hangers and needs no tune, and AWE guarantees it will not trigger a check engine light even without software.

The rear section exits through twin 90mm slash-cut tips in Chrome Silver or Diamond Black that can be adjusted to sit evenly in the bumper. The system is engineered, developed, tested and hand-crafted in-house by AWE in the USA, and is covered by AWE's Perfect Fitment guarantee and lifetime exhaust warranty (one year on exhaust tips). Does it fit the 2019+ GLI?
No. The 2019-and-newer GLI is a Mk7 car and uses a different AWE system.

Does it fit a 2.0L or 2.5L Mk6 Jetta?
No. It is for the GLI 2.0T and the 1.8T only; the 2.5L sedan has its own AWE system.

Do I need a tune?
No. AWE guarantees no check engine light, even without software.

Is it street legal?
AWE lists this system as 50 State Legal because it does not tamper with any emissions control or monitoring devices; it bolts on behind the catalytic converters. AWE does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for it, and local sound limits vary, so check the rules where you drive.
