Overview

The AWE Track Edition for the 8Y Audi S3 is aggressive by design, and it is a lot of exhaust for a daily commute. The AWE Track-to-Touring Conversion Kit turns your AWE Track Edition into the Touring Edition, the first S3 exhaust ever to use AWE's patented drone-cancelling 180 Technology®, without the cost of a complete new system.

The kit adds a pair of 180 Technology® mufflers in place of the Track Edition's straight sections. Tuned chambers inside each muffler reflect drone frequencies back out of phase so they cancel, while the gas flows straight through, so you keep the clean, sporty four-cylinder bark and the dyno-verified gains of the AWE system and lose the boom at highway speed.

The sections are handcrafted from CNC mandrel-bent 3-inch and 2.5-inch U.S.-sourced .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel and manufactured in-house by AWE. They bolt to your existing AWE system and quad tips on the factory hangers, so the conversion is quick, and you can keep the Track pipes to swap back for track days.

Does it work without an AWE exhaust?
No. It converts the AWE 8Y S3 Track Edition (3020-42897 or 3020-43897). It is not a standalone exhaust.

Will my S3 still sound sporty?
Yes. It keeps the straight-through four-cylinder bark and removes the drone at cruising speed.

Can I go back to Track?
Yes. Keep your Track sections and swap them back whenever you like.

Do I need a tune?
No. AWE guarantees no check engine light when it is installed properly.

Fitment Notes

Only for the AWE Track Edition exhaust on the 8Y Audi S3. It is not a standalone exhaust and does not fit the A3 or RS 3.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
