Overview

The AWE Track Edition gives the Mk7 Jetta GLI a raw, straight-through voice, but on a long highway drive that energy can turn into drone. The AWE Track-to-Touring Conversion Kit swaps your Track Edition rear sections for AWE's patented 180 Technology® rear sections, keeping the straight-through flow while taking the boom out of the cabin.

180 Technology® is AWE's patented drone-canceling design. Instead of packing a muffler with baffles, it cancels the frequencies that cause cabin boom while exhaust still flows straight through, so you keep a full tone under throttle and a calmer cabin at highway speed.

AWE particularly recommends the Touring Edition sound for GLIs running aftermarket downpipes, where the extra volume can get loud. Tips are not included, because you reuse the tips already on your AWE system. The rear sections are designed, engineered and manufactured in-house at AWE in the USA, bolt on with factory-like simplicity, and carry AWE's Perfect Fitment Guarantee, No CEL Guarantee and Lifetime Warranty.

Does it work without an AWE exhaust?
No. It converts the AWE Mk7 Jetta GLI Track Edition cat-back. It is not a standalone exhaust.

Does it fit the regular 1.4T or 1.5T Jetta?
No. It is for the Jetta GLI 2.0T with the AWE GLI exhaust.

Does it fit the 2022+ GLI?
The kit is listed for 2019-2021 GLIs. If you have a 2022 or newer GLI with an AWE Track Edition, call us before ordering.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
