Overview

The AWE Track Edition gives the Mk6 Jetta GLI a raw, motorsport-inspired voice, but every Track Edition owner eventually meets a long highway drive. The AWE Track-to-Touring Conversion Kit changes your AWE Track Edition into the Touring Edition by replacing the straight rear section with AWE's 180 Technology® axle-back muffler.

180 Technology® is AWE's proprietary approach to drone: rather than stuffing the muffler with baffles, it uses tuned chambers that cancel the frequencies responsible for cabin boom while the gas flows straight through. The Touring Edition keeps a deep, refined turbo-four tone under throttle and stays quiet and comfortable at cruising speed.

The kit is built from 2.5-inch T-304 stainless steel, engineered, developed, tested and hand-crafted in-house by AWE, and it bolts to your existing AWE system and slash-cut tips on the factory hangers. No tune is required, and AWE guarantees no check engine light even without software. Keep the Track section so you can swap back whenever you want more volume.

Does it work without an AWE exhaust?
No. It converts the AWE Mk6 Jetta Track Edition (3020-22026 or 3020-23028). It is not a standalone exhaust.

Does it fit the Jetta 1.8T?
Yes, when the car has the AWE Mk6 Jetta Track Edition exhaust fitted.

Will it remove the drone?
Yes. That is what the 180 Technology® muffler is designed to do.

Can I go back to Track?
Yes. Keep your Track section and swap it back in whenever you like.

Fitment Notes

Only for the AWE Track Edition exhaust on the Mk6 Jetta GLI 2.0T and Jetta 1.8T. It is not a standalone exhaust and does not fit the Mk7 GLI or the Mk6 GTI.

Shipping & returns

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
