Overview

A turbocharged four-cylinder Wrangler pulls hard, but from the factory it sounds like a commuter car, and the stock tailpipe hangs low where rocks and ledges can find it. The AWE Trail Edition Exhaust for the 2.0T Jeep JL and JLU fixes both. It is a crawler-engineered cat-back that tucks the exit up high for best-in-class clearance on aggressive departure angles, and it gives the 2.0T a purposeful, throaty tone off-road and on the street.

AWE handcrafts the Trail Edition from 3-inch and 2.5-inch U.S.-made CNC mandrel-bent .065-inch wall T304L stainless steel, using a clean, straight-through design that maximizes flow. AWE recorded dyno-verified gains of up to 5 hp and 10 lb-ft of torque at the wheels for its JL 2.0T exhaust suite. The system is a direct bolt-on with no cutting, fits both the two-door JL and the four-door JLU, and works on eTorque models.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it fit my lifted Jeep?
In most cases, but AWE notes the Trail Edition may not cooperate with lift kits that use rear sway bar drop brackets. Call us with your lift details.

Does it fit the Wrangler 4xe or the 3.6L V6?
No. This part number is for the 2.0T. AWE offers only Tread Edition axle-backs for the 4xe, and a separate system for the 3.6L.

Do I need a tune?
No. It is a bolt-on cat-back.

Does not fit the Wrangler 4xe, 3.6L V6, 392, or the Gladiator.

Shipping: Orders ship via UPS, FedEx or USPS, from our facility near Los Angeles or directly from the manufacturer. Rates for many items are weight-based and shown at checkout. If you need it by a certain date, text us before you order.

Returns: Unused items in brand-new condition and original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date, with a 25% restocking fee unless otherwise specified. In some cases we can offer a lower fee with the balance as store credit. Shipping charges aren't refundable in either direction unless approved by AutoTalent.

Not returnable: special-order or custom items, and anything that has been installed, modified or altered.

Cancellations: free if the item is out of stock or we miss the ETA you agreed to. Other cancellations carry a 5% processing fee to cover card fees we can't recover. Special-order items can't be cancelled.

Damaged in transit? Report it to the carrier and to us within 48 hours, keep all packaging, and don't send anything back without our written approval.
